The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and efficient coordination of all inbound and outbound shipments. This role ensures shipping documentation is complete and correct prior to loading, verifies that every load meets customer-specific requirements, assigns dock doors, and drives timely truck turnaround to prevent detention charges. The Coordinator works in accordance with all GMPs, internal SOPs, and company safety standards to maintain the integrity of the shipping process and protect customer relationships.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of relevant shipping, receiving, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes. Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products. Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components. Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods. Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle. Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility.
Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Frequent walking/standing required.

The expected salary range for this position is $20-$26/hour.
