AVW Equipment Company, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Clerk to maintain inventory counts and QC procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. You will unload deliveries, verify against invoices, and organize stock for outgoing orders.

Responsibilities include processing LTL and truckload shipments, receiving and distributing packages within the company, inspecting deliveries, and maintaining the stockroom with organized item catalogs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years shipping clerk experience.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds daily.
• Forklift certification and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments for all LTL and Full Truck Loads.
• Receive, register and distribute packages within the company.
• Inspect deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
• Maintain the stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items.
• Load and unload equipment and packages from trucks.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Prepare shipping/receiving documentation (packlists, reports).
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling (returns or damaged goods).
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Their duties include unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing and storing shipments until they receive outgoing order requests.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Process shipments for all LTL and Full Truck Loads

Qualification / Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED. Some additional training at technical school is preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience as a shipping clerk
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis
• Forklift experience and certification
