Job summary

Bergey’s Inc. is a family-owned business with locations across PA, DE, MD and NJ, including our Bergey’s Truck Center in Pennsauken, NJ. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, and fulfilling purchase orders.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour based on experience. Day shift runs 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Valid driver's license and background/drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consecutively throughout the day
• Must be 21 years of age
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage parts for drivers.
• Unload product from shipping containers.
• Put stock away in correct locations.
• Ensure that stock is labeled correctly.
• Handle product carefully to ensure it is not damaged.
• Maintain inventory levels by providing accurate cycle counts.
• Detailed oriented, always ensuring the right part for the right customer.
• Communicate well with management and team members.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Education

Summary:

Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment.

Location: Bergey's Truck Center, Pennsauken- NJ

Pay: Starting at $17.00 / hour based on experience
