Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

About the role

Eden Equipment manufactures advanced industrial filtration products in the USA and serves customers worldwide. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to lead shipping and receiving operations across our Austin warehouse facilities.

You will manage inbound components and raw goods, outbound parcel and commercial freight, transportation providers and material handlers. The role works closely with Production Supervision, Production Planning and Sales, with significant vendor coordination and some customer interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Receive materials, load and unload trucks, verify counts, and organize inventory on pallets, racks, shelves and bins.
  • Pick and process stock sales orders, pull materials, pack shipments, stage deliveries and process outbound parcel and freight shipments through the ERP system.
  • Prepare accurate bills of lading, commercial invoices, manifests and other shipping documents; coordinate Will Call freight.
  • Obtain domestic and international freight quotes, select and schedule carriers, and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation.
  • Develop packing and shipping standards that prevent damage, verify quantities against sales orders, and perform inventory stock counts.
  • Track shipping errors, manage freight claims, prepare the monthly Shipping Errors Report and use metrics to improve operations.
  • Coordinate cost-effective return material authorizations and inspections with Quality and Production.
  • Supervise material handlers, maintain clean and safe warehouse work areas, model safe practices and operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment as needed.
  • Maintain punctual, consistent attendance and support other assigned duties. The plant currently operates a single shift, with opportunities to expand.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Two to three years of warehouse management or shipping experience preferred.
  • Experience with shipping tools such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, ShipStation and label makers, and ERP/MRP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Forklift certification, a clean driving record and a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, time management and attention to detail; ability to work independently, accurately and on time.
Physical requirements

This active warehouse role involves frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, with most of the day spent on your feet. It requires handling and reaching materials from ground level and OSHA-approved ladders or lifts, regularly lifting 10–50 pounds, and occasionally handling heavier loads with a pallet jack, forklift or other mechanical assistance.

The work requires close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

  • NetSuite training and opportunities to develop vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Access to senior leadership in a growing small-business environment.
