Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a shipping and receiving clerk to join our team in Winlock, WA. The role focuses on accurate paperwork for shipments, checking drivers in/out, handling Bills of Lading, and using various systems while coordinating with warehouse personnel and carriers.

The position is on 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM. We offer competitive wages and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, boot allowance after 90 days, and an associate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Strong computer skills and mathematical ability required.
• Frequent interaction with warehouse workers; good interpersonal skills required.
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supply reordering.
• Researching store claims.
• Processing inbound and outbound shipments in the warehouse.
• Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times.
• Resolve discrepancies.
• Interact with warehouse associates and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with daily and weekly reports.
• Jointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics.
• Prioritize workload and adapt to position requirements.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Responsible for shipping and receiving procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the paperwork for all shipments leaving the distribution center is complete and accurate. You will check drivers in and out throughout day, handle bills of lading (BOL’s), and utilize various systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers.
