Job description

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for loading and unloading packages, verifying shipment contents, and managing the documentation associated with shipping processes. The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role and is capable of working independently and maintaining physical and digital inventories.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Prepare shipping documents and mailing labels
  • Ensure that orders have been filled correctly
  • Ensure that orders are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
  • Handle returns and exchanges
  • Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Coordinate and negotiate with courier and delivery services

Requirements:

  • 5 years proven work experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk or similar role
  • Good understanding of shipment or delivery processes
  • Experience with inventory management software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
