Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team.

Duties include:

1. Sort, count, package, label, insure, and log all shipping and receiving inventory.
2. Sort packages/equipment and deliver to designated office, laboratory, or section.
3. Review shipping manifests, inspect packages, and verify quantities received against invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders.
4. Inspect shipments for damages and defects, record damages, and notify appropriate personnel.
5. Assist in removing incoming shipments from the loading dock to proper staging and storage areas.
6. Operate and perform minor maintenance on equipment, and prepare lab equipment for use.
7. Operate government vehicles for transporting goods to and from NIH.
8. Assist primary shipping and receiving clerks with shipments, and update inventory systems.
9. Collect receiving/packing slips and coordinate supply orders with the facility manager.
10. Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
11. Process biohazardous waste and contaminated laboratory items following established procedures.
12. Refill liquid nitrogen tanks and replace empty tanks as needed.
