Menasha Corporation, comprising Menasha Packaging and ORBIS Corporation, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving professional for third shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Mon–Fri). You will assemble orders, prepare shipments, generate labels, and maintain accurate shipment records to support our global packaging and supply chain operations.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of shipping & receiving experience, with strong knowledge of coordinating production lines and

Responsabilités

• Communicates instructions to checker/loaders, drivers, and carriers.
• Coordinates and executes shipping schedules and dispatches local freight shipments.
• Creates shipping labels and arranges shipments with carriers.
• Verifies shipments against bills of lading and orders.
• Coordinates with managers to align production and shipments.
• Records shipment data and maintains shipment totals.
• Resolves outbound and incoming delivery issues with stakeholders.
• Inspects outgoing and incoming shipments for accuracy and damages.
• Coordinates trailer movements with yard spotters.
• Assists with waste tracking and disposal and prepares reports.

About The Opportunity

Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability. Completes shipping reports. This position primarily operates on third shift, with regular working hours of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime, extended hours, or schedule adjustments may be required to meet business demands.

Essential Job Functions

• Communicates instructions to checker/loaders, contracted truck drivers, and OTR carriers
• Coordinates and execute shipping schedules, and dispatch local freight shipments
• Creates shipping labels for paperwork received and contacts carrier to arrange shipment
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
• Confers with managers to ensure coordination of production lines and finished product
• Responsible for coordination of product completion and shipments on a timely basis by logging and inventory of the shipment and keeping a running total of the shipments
• Resolve outbound and incoming delivery issues with key stakeholders
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
• Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Coordinates movements of trailers with yard spotter
• Assists with waste tracking and disposal
• Prepares business reports as needed
• Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education Required

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Required

• 4 years Experience in Shipping & receiving

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products
• Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
• Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
• Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle
• Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent walking/standing required
