Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Auburn, IN, is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate for the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm). This full-time hourly role supports the Materials team, handling inbound/outbound shipments, forklift movement, and cross-shift coordination.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming shipments and document outgoing part shipments, entering data as needed.
• Coordinate material movement via forklift and assist in cycle counts and inventories.
• Serve as liaison for customer communication (DDL, TS, etc.).
• Assist in processing returns.
• Communicate shipping requirements and potential misses to the plant.
• Coordinate shipping needs with other shifts.

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

• receive all incoming shipments and prepare/document all outgoing part shipments in a timely manner. Enter data in computer as necessary.
• coordinate the movement of materials via forklift in the plant and assist in cycle counting and physical inventories.
• liaison for all customer communication, including but not limited to DDL, TS, etc.
• assist in processing returns.
• communicate all shipping requirements, potential misses, short ships to the plant.
• coordinate shipping needs with other shifts.

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Materials team and reports to the Shipping Supervisor.

Required experience

• Shipping experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
