Job summary

AUTOKINITON Auburn, Indiana is seeking a full-time forklift operator to move materials inside and outside the plant, support production lines, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. You’ll drive a forklift outdoors seasonally and support continuous improvement efforts.

We offer competitive wages starting at $22 per hour with shift premium, comprehensive benefits, and training opportunities. Some daily and weekend overtime is available, with supervision by the Production Supervisor.

• Forklift experience in production/manufacturing setting preferred; training and certifications provided.

Responsibilities

• Move materials inside and outside of the plant as required.
• Role will include driving a forklift outside throughout the year.
• Ensure parts and containers are placed at work stations as required.
• Empty trash for appropriate disposal.
• Contribute in efforts to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitor and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Process hourly/daily paperwork as required.
• Check fluid levels, change LP tanks using proper PPE and charge truck batteries based on policy.

This full-time, hourly, role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Production Supervisor.

We have some daily and weekend overtime.

Required experience:

• Forklift Experience in a production/manufacturing setting is preferred but we encourage those with some forklift experience to apply as we will provide all the necessary training and certifications!
