Job summary

Staffmark in Moraine, OH is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate to help move products efficiently. You will receive shipments, verify counts, prepare orders, and load/unload using a sit-down forklift.

This role requires at least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience, forklift familiarity, and a valid driver's license; candidates should be detail-oriented and able to operate scanners and shipping software in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience required.
• Experience with LTL, truckload, and small parcel shipping processes preferred.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and shipping software.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify product accuracy.
• Process shipments using computerized shipping and manifest systems.
• Prepare Bills of Lading, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
• Organize inventory and ensure proper product placement throughout the warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies.
• Repackage and relabel products as needed.
• Load and unload LTL, truckload, parcel, and container shipments.
• Operate pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
