Shipping and Receiving Associate – Onsite – Chesterfield, MO (Greater ST. Louis Area)

What does the Experitec Shipping and Receiving Associate do?

In this position you will be:

1. Packaging and transacting shipments via Shipping Software.
2. Unloading in-bound packages and verifying packing lists and part numbers on delivered equipment.
3. Receiving products via computer.
4. Labeling products and performing “put away” functions.
5. Driving company vehicles to deliver Customer goods.
6. Operating Forklift and Manlift machines.
7. Performing Cycle Counts of Physical Inventory.
8. Performing Housekeeping activities on schedule.
9. Assisting Customer Service department and Facilities department as needed.

This position is part of our Warehouse team within Experitec with the specific title of Shipping and Receiving Associate.

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities:

1. High School Diploma OR equivalent.
2. Minimum of 1 year Warehouse work experience.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Outlook email, and basic computer skills.
4. Ability to work onsite in office Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm and to occasionally work additional hours and potential weekend options upon request. 24/7 on call rotation expectation (Est. 1 week per month).
5. Ability to drive for the company (including pickup truck) with a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass driving record background check.
6. Ability to safely hookup and operate a pull behind trailer.
7. Ability to utilize personal vehicle for the majority of work travel AND ability to rent a car when requested by supervisor for work travel.
8. Ability to independently travel locally in STL area during work hours as needed.
9. Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
10. Ability to work in Warehouse environments with shifting temperatures.
11. Ability to wear PPE as appropriate for potential environmental hazards.
12. Ability to communicate with internal and external customer via Microsoft Teams/Outlook and phone.
13. Ability to drive or willingness to learn and drive Forklift and Manlift vehicles.
14. Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate Hand tools and Power Tools.
15. Ability and willingness to communicate proficiently with Internal and External Customers.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Abilities:

1. One or more years of college or technical school.
2. Five or more years of relevant work experience.
3. Prior experience driving a forklift and manlift vehicles.
4. One or more years of experience in shipping and receiving.
5. Two or more years of experience operating hand tools and power tools.
