ForTec Medical, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Hudson, Ohio. You will coordinate movement of materials, inspect shipments, prepare outbound orders, and maintain accurate inventory and records.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and frequent handling of goods, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing. Responsibilities include receiving goods, packaging, tracking via the system, resolving discrepancies, and supporting safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Previous shipping/receiving and/or customer service experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds routinely.
• Position requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling of equipment.
• Experience with ISO13845 a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment with protective packing materials.
• Oversees receipt of purchased goods, verifying counts and quality and completes transactions in the system.
• Unpacks, sorts and places materials on racks, shelves and bins.
• Receives and processes orders from internal locations.
• Documents damage and discrepancies for reimbursement and reconciliation; processes returns.
• Monitors inventory through receipt, storage, shipment and data entry; conducts routine counts.
• Operates hand trucks/pallet jacks to move items safely.
• Responds to orders promptly and with urgency.
• Able to multi-task and meet daily deadlines under high-volume conditions.
• Attends work on time and follows safety rules.

Job Description

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate responsible for coordinating the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials,supplies, equipment, and products into and out of the organization. The role includes receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities and documentation, preparing and packaging outgoing orders, maintaining accurate inventory and transaction records, and resolving shipping discrepancies or damaged goods.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assembles orders and prepare goods for shipment. Assembles and fills boxes or packages for shipping with protective packing materials. Selects shipping method and size to determine best packaging options and shipping cost.
• Oversees the receipt of purchased goods, verifying counts and visual quality and complete transactions in appropriate business system according to established procedures.
• Unpacks, sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves and bins.
• Receives and processes orders from internal business locations.
• Documents damage and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Processes return goods.
• Monitors and achieves inventory control through accurate receipt, storage, shipment and data entry. Conducts routine physical inventory counts and reconciles variances.
• Operates hand truck and/or pallet jacks and other equipment to safely move items to proper locations.
• Responds to all requests for orders timely and with urgency.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet daily deadlines and times of high volume activity.
• Attends work on time as scheduled as company determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.Follows all safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Previous shipping & receiving and/or customer service experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds routinely.
• Position requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling of equipment as well as using hand manipulations when utilizing hand tools.
• Experience with ISO13845 a plus
