Ad-Tech Industries, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the flow of incoming and outgoing products. This role is essential in ensuring accurate shipments, efficient material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

This position is empowered to identify and report any discrepancies or concerns to management. The role reports to the Shipping & Receiving Department Director and involves processing shipments, operating forklifts

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, and banders.
• Read and interpret packing lists and work orders.
• Ensure accuracy in order numbers, quantities, and shipment details.
• Maintain organized shipping records and assist with inventory tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.

Education

Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: Shipping & Receiving Department Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Department Director

Position Summary

Ad-Tech Industries, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the flow of incoming and outgoing products. This role is essential in ensuring accurate shipments, efficient material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

This position is empowered to identify and report any discrepancies or concerns to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, and banders
• Transport finished goods from production to the shipping department
• Read and interpret packing lists, work orders, and product identification tags
• Ensure accuracy in order numbers, quantities, and shipment details
• Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
• Maintain organized documentation, including packing lists and shipping records
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and other assigned tasks
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
  Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 35 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs continuously
  • Stand for extended periods throughout the day
  • Use required PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves
  Work Environment
  • Clean, industrial setting within the shipping and receiving area
  • Temperature varies seasonally due to open dock doors and truck traffic
  Compensation & Benefits

  Compensation:

  • Hourly rate of $17.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience and skill
  • Opportunities for overtime may be available based on business needs
