Logistics Associate, Distribution Center

Pay: $22.00/hour
Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Fond du Lac, WI

About the Role

Our client manufactures wood-based and upholstered furniture and is hiring a Logistics Associate to support shipping and receiving, maintain accurate inventory and shipment records, and prepare shipping documentation. Your time is split about 50% in the office and 50% on the warehouse floor.

What You'll Do

• Support daily shipping and receiving, including verifying freight against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips
• Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and pick tickets for domestic and international shipments
• Maintain inventory and shipment records in client's preferred system, and reconcile discrepancies
• Prepare forms, reports, and routine correspondence
• Stage, pick, label, and load orders, and inspect for damage or errors
• Operate forklifts after certification (training provided)
• Assist with cycle counts and follow all safety and material-handling procedures

What You Need

• 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping, distribution, or warehouse operations
• Working knowledge of computers and data processing systems
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, freight terms, NMFC classifications, and carrier services
• Ability to read and interpret bills of lading, invoices, picklists, and shipping reports
• Ability to use measuring tools and follow inventory procedures
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

• Regularly sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Occasionally lift over 50 lbs, with some tasks up to 100 lbs
