Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for a company based in Calera, AL. The role offers growth with training opportunities in other locations, in a climate-controlled facility within a family-oriented environment.

Pay is $15.00 per hour with a full-time schedule. Work Mon–Sat, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with mandatory overtime. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, valid forklift certification, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED or transcript required before starting.
• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Ability to wear a hair net and/or beard net.
• Ability to understand basic mathematical measurements.
• Attention to detail and precision during handling and labeling processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently following company policies.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas.
• Transport materials to designated locations maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts, report issues promptly.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE as required.

Shipping and Receiving Associate

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate for a company based in Calera, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow with the ability to train in other locations and grow your skills. It is a climate-controlled facility, and the company is family oriented.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours: Monday through Saturday, 6 00 am to 3 30 pm. Must be available for MANDATORY overtime

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
• Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Will request proof of High school diploma, GED or Transcript before able to start
• Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program.
• Comfortable wearing a hair net and/or beard net.
