The Shipping and Receiving Clerk works in a highly automated, climate-controlled production facility that manufactures totes and crates for major retail and automotive customers. In this role, you handle finished goods at the end of the production process, including stacking, palletizing, labeling, and decorating totes according to customer specifications, while performing quality checks and ensuring accurate inventory transactions.

This is a highly automated, climate-controlled 24/7 production facility where robots perform much of the manufacturing work, supported by a critical human element for stacking totes, conducting quality checks, applying labels, and handling general labor duties. The site operates on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with multiple 12-hour shifts: day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with alternating on/off days across the week. Work is physically active and performed mostly on your feet, involving standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, climbing steps, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Steel-toed shoes are required as part of the dress code. Modern technology, including tablets and an MRP system, supports inventory control and labeling tasks, and the facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and efficient workflows.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ottawa, KS.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
