Responsibilities

• Read and follow job jackets to verify production completion and job/order details.
• Check packing instructions and confirm items match customer specifications and order quantity.
• Weigh shipments and ensure compliance with weight guidelines.
• Enter shipment data into the shipping system to generate packing slips and customer documentation.
• Update shipping status on job jackets and track order progression.
• Process shipments via automated shipping software—selecting appropriate carriers and calculating shipping charges.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and maintain tracking and follow-up on deliveries.
• Perform routine quality control to identify damage, incorrect packaging, or discrepancies before shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
