LSI Staffing is hiring a Shipping Associate for a full-time on-site role in New Century, Kansas. You will verify production completion, check packing instructions, weigh shipments, and enter data into the shipping system to generate packing slips and customer documentation.

The position runs Monday–Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime available and includes benefits. You'll coordinate with carriers, update shipping status, perform routine quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe

Qualifications

Reading and following job jackets to verify production completion and order details.
Confirming packing instructions and item counts match customer specifications.
Weighing shipments to ensure compliance with weight guidelines.
Entering shipment data into the shipping system to generate packing slips and documentation.
Updating shipping status on jackets and tracking order progression.

Responsibilities

Process shipments using automated software and select appropriate carriers.
Coordinate with carriers for pickups and maintain tracking information.
Perform routine quality control to identify damage, incorrect packaging, or discrepancies before shipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
Ensure all customer documentation matches order details.
Verify that production completion aligns with job jackets.
Ensure weight guidelines are followed for each shipment.
Update records in the shipping system for each order.
Communicate any issues to relevant stakeholders.
