Job summary

Reliable Equipment & Service Co. in Ivyland, PA is seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver to join a growing tooling, repair, and distribution team serving the Power and Utility Industry. If you are mechanically inclined, this is a great opportunity to learn a new trade with training provided.

You will handle receiving, picking, and shipping tasks, maintain inventory accuracy, and participate in annual/bi-annual inventories. A detail-oriented, dependable teammate is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Detail oriented with ability to count and identify products.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and flexibility in schedule.
• Hardworking and dependable.
• On-site, full-time role requiring reliability.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store incoming products accurately.
• Process picking, packing, and shipping; ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with annual/bi-annual physical inventory and inventory accuracy.

Description

Reliable Equipment & Service Co. is modern and clean tooling, repair, and distribution center servicing the Power and Utility Industry. We are currently looking for full-time Shippers & Receivers to be a part of our growing team. If you are mechanically inclined, this is a great opportunity to learn a new trade. We are willing to train!

Shipping & Receiving has many parts that help define their role. Due to the need for cross training an associate may be hired for a specific role and slowly cross trained to be able to help in other areas when necessary.

Receiving

• Ensure that incoming product is properly labeled and stored.
• Verify that product is brought in undamaged.
• Accurately count incoming product and make sure it matches associated purchase order.
• Help maintain an accurate inventory.
• Help with annual/bi-annual physical inventory.

Picking

• Pick orders in a timely manner.
• Pick orders accurately.
• Report back to sales with any backorders.
• Review own orders as well as others.

Shipping

• Verify product on shipment during packaging.
• Pack and label product with shipping labels.
• Process documents through shipping software.
• Monitor shipping materials and notify management of any shortages.
• Help maintain an accurate inventory.
• Help with annual/bi-annual physical inventory.
