Job summary

MEPPI is seeking a detail-oriented Shipper Receiver to support warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations within the Switchgear Division. You will receive, stock, and ship materials, verify documentation, and help maintain inventory accuracy while complying with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include processing shipping/receiving transactions, operating forklifts and cranes, coordinating with drivers and production, and training others on shipping procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehousing experience or equivalent.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound shipments and manage inventory transactions in the business system.
• Verify shipments, prepare labels, and ensure proper documentation.
• Operate forklifts/cranes and move materials safely.
• Coordinate with drivers and production for smooth material flow.
• Inspect incoming materials and resolve discrepancies with Buyers and Quality.
