Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Shipper/Receiver I based in Santa Paula, CA. You will support shipping operations, prepare items for UPS/FEDEX/LTL, and ensure accurate packing and labeling.

The role reports to the Logistics Supervisor and requires 1–2 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing setting. You’ll work Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, lift up to 60 lbs, follow 5S practices, and collaborate with the logistics team to meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years shipping/receiving in a manufacturing setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to read, count, and verify numbers
• Ability to use basic computer software

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance and pack items
• Pull and pack orders for freight and small package shipments
• Check shipments against work orders for accuracy
• Label and document shipments with correct paperwork
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, scales as needed
• Maintain 5S practices in the warehouse
