Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a dependable Shipper/Receiver to support our warehouse operations in Louisville. You will receive, store, pick, ship, and dispatch products to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities include loading trailers, stocking inbound goods, using SAP handhelds, maintaining clean, safe storage areas, and supporting team Dawn with excellence in service and safety. This role requires lifting, standing, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machines.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Available to work overtime as required.

• Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion
• Ability to understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operations
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein
• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn

Shift Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 pm (or until finished)
• Overtime and Weekends required based on business needs.

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.
