Job description

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates, and pallet wrap machines.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non‑related employment experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Must tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, soy.
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool/cold temperatures.
• Available to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Correctly select, palletize, and shrink‑wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery.
• Receive and stock inbound product in designated locations; rotate and replenish stock.
• Safely load trailers in even and productive fashion.
• Operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP for all warehouse operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Support Circle of Excellence and Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn.

Shift Schedule

• Sunday – Thursday
• 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (or until finished)
• Overtime and weekends required based on business needs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach; climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Regularly lift and move up to 80 pounds and frequently lift 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus.
