Job summary

ANDRITZ in Neenah, WI seeks a hands-on shop technician to safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and common hand and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will review inbound and outbound shipping papers, climb ladders to access truck beds, and handle rolls with carpentry-supported crates, using diameter and carpenter’s tapes for precise measurements. On‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
Ability to read a diameter tape and carpenter’s tape for rolls.

Responsibilities

Safely operate overhead cranes and forklift according to load requirements.
Safely operate hand and power tools.
Review shipping papers for inbound/outbound shipments.
Access truck beds by climbing ladders.
Handle incoming/outgoing products, identify damage, weigh rolls, and stage them.
Perform carpentry tasks for roll crates and measure with tapes.
Assist with maintenance, housekeeping, painting and other tasks as directed.
Work independently or with supervision as required.
