Job summary

Pollard Banknote Limited is seeking a productive Shipper/Receiver to join our Shipping and Receiver Department at the Ypsilanti Plant (775 James L Hart Parkway). The role supports loading, unloading, staging shipments and maintaining stock in our inventory system, with a 12-hour, 3-day work week.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, material handling experience, and at least one year of forklift operation (sit-down/stand-up). Clamp truck is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Material handling skills and experience.
• Minimum one year of forklift experience (sit-down/stand-up).
• Clamp truck experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with safe warehouse procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with the S&R Team and manufacturing about deliveries & shipments.
• Stage, load and unload inbound/outbound shipments.
• Inventory control by correctly verifying & receiving products in our inventory system.
• Identify and correct any deficiencies related to shipping and/or receiving.
• Process all materials or WIP according to work instructions for all Finished pallets, Rolls & Crates shipping to internal or external customers.
• Process paperwork associated with shipping and receiving.
• Ensure all internal/external customer requirements are met for inbound & outbound freight.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for a productive Shipper Reciever to join our Shipping and Reciever Department team for a 12 hour 3 day work week within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway. This position is responsible for general warehouse operations, loading and unloading of materials on trucks, prepping pallets for outbound shipments and maintaining stock/inventory.

What You’ll Do

• Experience performing checklist for daily use of equipment
• Familiarity with safe warehouse procedures and regulations
• Must be able to work outdoors in all inclement of weather

• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
• Able to lift to at least 40 lbs
• This position can be very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, & crouching as required
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate work
