Job summary

A leading provider in power solutions is seeking a Shipper/Receiver in Weymouth, Massachusetts. This role involves receiving, packaging, and storing stock switches to ensure efficient distribution. Electroswitch is a leading provider of switching, monitoring, and control solutions for the power industry, serving the utility, industrial power, and defense markets worldwide. We deliver high-quality, innovative products engineered for reliable performance in demanding applications.

We are looking for a shipper / receiver to help with our Foam-in-Place duties. This role's responsibilities also include receiving, packaging and storing stock switches for the distribution center.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

• Receive stock switches to be packaged for the distribution and make labels and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Package switches according to proper packaging procedures completing priority items first.
• Store packaged switches ensuring stock is rotated and new switches are put in the appropriate locations.
• Stock packaging area with appropriate packaging materials.
• Utilize tape machine, paper cutter, pallet jack, and two-wheeler as required.
• Perform general housekeeping as required.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Package switches according to requests from Quality Control or Engineering.

Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:

Level of knowledge usually associated with a High school diploma.

Three (3) months to one (1) year of related experience.

Physical Requirements:

Required to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs on a regular basis.

• Combination of Manufacturing and Warehouse environment.
• Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold and odors.

Work Hours:

7:30 AM - 4:15 PM; Monday - Friday

Pay Range:

$19.00 - $24.00 / hr
