Job summary

Westaff is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate for the Gardner, MA area on a first shift with immediate start. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and pay ranges from $20-$22 per hour DOE.

The role involves timely movement of goods, accurate inventory records, and preparing shipping documents. Forklift operation and IQMS knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Shipping/Receiving, utilizing shipping software/packages and established shipping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders for shipment and receive incoming materials.
• Work from shipping orders with written and verbal instructions.
• Prepare bill of lading forms, shipping labels and packing slips.
• Use weighing scales and strapping equipment.

Westaff is looking for a 1st shift Shipping/Receiving Associate in the Gardner, MA area for Immediate Start!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay rate: $20-$22/Hour DOE

Location: Gardner, MA

Summary

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the timely movement of goods in and out of the Warehouse, and keeping accurate records of inventory.

Job Duties

• Perform a variety of routine duties to fill orders for shipment and receive incoming materials.
• Work from shipping orders with both written and verbal instruction.
• Prepare bill of lading forms, shipping labels and packing slips.
• Use weighing scales and strapping equipment.
• Move material as required using fork truck and other material handling equipment.
• Ship orders using FedEx/UPS computer systems.

Qualifications

5 plus years of experience in Shipping/Receiving, utilizing shipping software/packages and established shipping procedures.

• Must be proficient with Incoming/Outgoing freight, UPS, FedEx labeling and other shipping systems, as well as, experience utilizing a Company’s operating system (IQMS knowledge preferred).
