Essential Duties
- Organize, prioritize, and communicate tasks; take ownership and delegate appropriately.
- Manage drivers and shipping operations, including loading, unloading, and scheduling trucks, LTLs, and small packages.
- Collect BOLs, packing slips, and invoices; verify quantities; enter data into PeopleSoft, Maximo, or other systems.
- Serve as the primary radio contact, direct incoming and outgoing trucks, and coordinate door assignments.
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring correct load type, product mix, and documentation.
- Maintain email communication for emergencies, order changes, new LTLs, and customer care needs.
- Confirm appointment times, collect executive job site forms, and update CarrierPoint.
- Assist with hazardous material guidelines, RMA paperwork, export documents, and cycle counts.
- Ensure safety compliance, supervise warehouse associates, and relieve them during breaks and lunch periods.
- Train new employees and continue to develop current staff.
- Support the Shipping Supervisor and cover duties as needed; coordinate projects to optimize crew productivity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a fast‑paced logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting logistics, customer care, and business goals.
- Positive leadership and motivation for crew.
- Problem‑solving skills for logistics, carrier, and customer challenges.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Knowledge of standard warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Proven ability to teach and train other employees.
