Job summary

Broan-NuTone LLC in Hartford, CT is seeking a Shipper to join our fast-paced distribution center. You will ensure on-time shipment by safely operating powered equipment, picking, packing, and putting away product from production and inbound receiving.

You will use RF scanners and our Warehouse Management System to track movement, load trailers, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Safe operation of powered equipment to move product.
• Basic math skills for counting and verification.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Adherence to company safety guidelines.
• Experience using Warehouse Management System.
• Proficiency with RF scanners for product movement.
• High attention to detail in lots and locations.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate PIV equipment to place product and retrieve from designated storage area, picking orders as instructed. Ensure accurate cycle counts are completed.
• Loads and unloads trailers
• Use RF Scanner to accurately record product movement within Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Consolidate product via palletization method.
• Move trailers within yard and between buildings
• Performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping for a clean and orderly work area
• Ensures all duties are performed to meet customer expectations and deadlines
• Follow direction from management to meet departmental needs.
• Meet minimum required performance standards
