Job summary

Winpak Portion Packaging in Sauk Village, IL is seeking a reliable Shipper to join our Warehouse Dept on day and night shifts. The role involves loading, packing, shipping products and ensuring FIFO and ISO9001 compliance.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, with 2+ years' experience, rotating shifts, and opportunities to grow within a supportive team focused on quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards and documentation practices.
• Must be able to work rotating schedule.
• Must be competent to carry out food packaging safety and quality responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload in a safe, efficient manner following company rules.
• Receive inspection of raw materials and packaging.
• Ensure trailers are loaded/unloaded with dock locks or wheel chocks and verified per procedures.
• Verify quantities and product IDs match the bill of lading/pick list.
• Use FIFO when pulling product from inventory.
• Scan product and materials In/Out of plant and warehouse.
• Report food packaging safety problems to management.
• Follow GMP, sanitation, prerequisite programs and food safety policies.
