Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift in Kansas City, MO. Under direct supervision, you will pick, pack, and load steel products and operate standard warehouse equipment to ensure accurate material handling.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of warehouse experience, and basic math and communication skills. This full-time, on-site position offers competitive pay at $24.50 per hour plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Champions and enforces safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
• Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
• Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials, reporting any damages.
• Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
• Standardizes and optimizes shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Regular, full-time onsite attendance is required.

Job Description

Under direct supervision, responsible for picking, packing, and loading steel tube and pipe while adhering to established procedures and quality standards. Operates standard warehouse equipment to ensure efficient material handling.

3rd Shift - 10:00pm - 6:30am

Pay - $24.50
