Job summary

Lakeshirts is hiring a Shipping Clerk in Minnesota to support fast, reliable delivery. Under the Shipping Supervisor, you will assist in shipping orders, label packages, enter orders, and manage deliveries to meet deadlines.

Shifts are Monday–Thursday, 12pm–10pm, at $17 per hour. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safety, with duties spanning order entry, labeling, invoicing, and coordinating with carriers.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Computer experience required (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Reliable, responsible and takes direction well.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours.
• Able to lift over 25 lbs frequently.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours/day.
• Previous shipping experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders and determines pick-up or ship status.
• Determines shipping methods (Air, COD, UPS, PP, RPS, Fed-Ex) as needed.
• Labels boxes with PO’s or packing slips; groups designs for minimums.
• Enters orders in computer; records tracking numbers; applies UPS labels.
• Invoices orders and tapes boxes.
• Delivers final shipments to UPS as needed to meet deadlines.
• Loads pick-up orders for customers.
• Reads and understands work orders; prepares and schedules LTL shipments.
• Generates customs invoices for international shipments.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly; follows OSHA safety practices.
• Works with others to get the job done.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, this position is responsible for assisting in the shipping of orders at Lakeshirts.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm

Essential Job Functions | Receive + Label + Order Entry + Invoice + Tape + Load + Deliver

• Receives orders and determines pick-up or ship status
• Upon checking for special needs, determines methods of shipping (Air, COD, UPS, PP, RPS, Fed-Ex)
• Labels boxes with PO's or packing slips, and groups designs if necessary for minimums
• Enters orders in computer, records tracking numbers and applies UPS labels
• Invoices orders and tapes boxes
• Delivers final shipments to the UPS office if necessary to meet deadlines
• Loads pick-up orders for the customers
• Reads and understands work orders
• Prepares and schedules LTL shipments
• Generates customs invoices for international shipments
• Organizes work flow and k eeps work area clean and orderly
• Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and resolves safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
• Works actively with others to get the job done
• Other duties as assigned
