Job summary

TEL Staffing & HR is now hiring Shipfitters to work at the Pensacola Shipyards. As a Shipfitter, you will develop, fit and assemble various metal parts for ship construction, ensuring watertight integrity and following strict blueprints.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in the shipyard and be prepared to pass a drug test and physical assessment. The position offers a starting pay of $25+/hr with typical working hours of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of shipyard experience required.
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and physical agility assessment.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble metal parts according to blueprints.
