Job summary

Viking seeks a Video Technician to set up, operate, and maintain video equipment across entertainment venues aboard our ships. You will film and edit onboard programs such as Viking Today and Port Talks, and support stage management during shows.

The role requires strong video knowledge, experience with broadcast workflows, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Shipboard experience is preferred; travel and vessel rotation are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong video knowledge including front/rear projection and LED displays.
• Experience with TV studios or video production environments onboard ships preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast/Media/Television/Film production required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and maintain video equipment for all entertainment venues onboard.
• Film and edit Viking Today, Port Talks, and Enrichment Lectures as required.
• Program show control computer and coordinate with Stage Manager and Broadcast Manager.
• Maintain logs, ensure design integrity, and manage equipment inventories.
