Job summary

Celebrity Cruises is seeking an Entertainment Operator - Lighting to manage daily operation and maintenance of lighting for the main theater and venues. You will set up, run, and tear down lighting for shows, call cues, and liaise with entertainers to meet lighting needs.

Regular theater resets and inventory duties are required. The role requires a theater lighting degree, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with Hog 3/4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in theater (lighting design or technology) required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in entertainment lighting operation and maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of Hog 3 and Hog 4 lighting platforms.
• Experience with intelligent/moving fixtures and troubleshooting.
• Cruise ship or touring experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate lighting equipment for main theater and venues as scheduled.
• Call follow spot cues and maintain lighting quality to standards.
• Coordinate with Stage & Production Manager on cues and looks.
• Maintain inventory records for consumables and fixtures.
• Attend rehearsals and assist with stage resets as needed.
• Ensure safety standards and theater presentation quality.
