Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Data Analysis, or related skills.
• 4+ years of experience as a government or commercial Port Engineer or exposure to vessel regulatory compliance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Program Support Engineer assigned to our customer programs.
• Consult Shipboard Management Team with afloat and ashore members in life cycle management of the vessel.
• Serve as SME for SAMM Ashore and Afloat modules and drive resolution of technical issues.
• Assist the customer in troubleshooting and navigating maintenance support modules.
• Assist personnel with work package development and documentation of work performed during shipyard availabilities.
• Review ship availability plan of action and milestones (POAMS) and other shipyard information for data quality and policy compliance.
• Train shipboard personnel on maintenance management software and prepare debriefs for customers.
• Track the status of vessel maintenance activities, report on compliance and efficiency, and assist in corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Port Engineers, and Shipboard Engineers to fix data quality errors.
