Job summary

Tamayo Federal Solutions LLC invites qualified professionals to support Aviation Warfare Systems aboard new construction aircraft carriers. You will coordinate installation, testing, and material logistics across government, shipbuilders, and system command stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have six years of Navy logistics experience, MILSTRIP knowledge, and strong MS Office/Power BI skills. This role involves coordination with SME teams, on-site material turnover, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of full-time hands-on experience with Navy shipboard supply system and MILSTRIP procedures; ability to read and interpret APLs and related manuals.
• Two (2) years' experience leading, scheduling and prioritizing workloads related to maintenance and logistics.
• Experience with MS Office suite, SharePoint and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Assist contract Program Manager and MARMC managers with planning assignments ensuring material requirements meet schedule dates.
• Maintain records and visual aids reflecting status of jobs planned, in progress or completed.
• Perform edits of material requirements to optimize service levels and minimize cost; resolve procurement issues.
• Maintain records and follow regulations for work management operations.
• Coordinate with team leads, planners, engineers, and requestors to resolve issues and promote collaboration.
• Review drawings, cost estimates, and specs for purchases supporting repairs and maintenance.
• Develop inventory lists to assist local storage facilities in inventory processes.
• Prepare material status reports for ships using various databases.
• Track product flow from origin to delivery and propose logistics improvements.
• Develop standard operating procedures for material ordering.
