Job summary

Carnival Corporation & plc is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage reporting, forecasting, and budgets for crew-related costs and Shipboard operations at our South Florida office.

You will analyze variances, develop analytical tools, lead junior staff, and partner with commercial and operational leaders to drive informed decisions. In-office with Friday remote option, located in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Interactive Reporting, and Oracle.
• Financials or similar database systems.
• Proficiency in Tableau.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt easily to change in dynamic environment.
• Mastery with financial statement analysis.
• Must be able to critically think, problem solve, and perform root cause analysis under ambiguity.
• Highly analytical and detail oriented with a strong business sense.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to completion, coordinate action plans, and implement actionable strategies.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize work-load, and achieve effective results.
• Strong ability to problem-solve under ambiguity, adapts readily and easily to changes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed annual financial budgets and monthly financial forecasts for all Crew Related Costs.
• Special projects as determined by the needs of the business covering all areas of Shipboard Finance.
• Monitor and track financial performance, and analyze variances.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and assist other finance teams as required.
• Develop junior team members, constantly seeking opportunities to improve and promote an environment of teamwork and high professional standards.
