KBR's Marine Corps' Prepositioning (MCPP) Program is based on Blount Island in Jacksonville, Florida, WITH DUTY ASSIGNMENT ABOARD A SHIP IN GUAM, SAIPAN, OR DIEGO GARCIA. We provide maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy.

Performs high level preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel engines and gasoline and diesel driven construction equipment. Provides technical guidance to lower level mechanics and trains others. Other tasks as reasonably assigned.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 4 years of directly related work experience.
• Complete the Basic Engineer Program Mechanics Course, or equivalent.
• Complete the Engineer Equipment Chief Course, or equivalent.
• Must maintain a valid passport.
• Must have valid State Drivers License.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CAC and Base Access.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Performs high level preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel engines and gasoline and diesel driven construction equipment such as tractors, power shovels, road machinery, air compressors, concrete mixers and other engine driven or towed construction equipment.
• Provides technical assistance, guidance, or training to lower level mechanics and assists higher level mechanics.
• Performs other tasks as reasonably assigned.
