A leading defense technology firm is seeking a Marine Mechanic to join the Elevator Support Unit. In this full-time role located in Chesapeake, VA, you will maintain and repair Weapon Elevators and Aircraft Elevators for U.S. Navy ships. Qualifications

• High School education or Trade School or equivalent, and 6 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain medical clearance to wear a half-face respirator.
• Ability to travel when not assigned to local tasking.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft carrier elevators.
• Provide direction and lead others as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions.

Skills
