Viking is seeking a Broadcast Manager to oversee the Broadcast Centre on board our ships. You will ensure smooth operation of radio/TV broadcast equipment, support the Cruise Director, and lead a multi-cultural team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
The role requires a proven track record in broadcast management, a technical degree aligned with broadcasting, and hands-on experience with CMS and broadcast hardware. Shipboard orientation and a commitment to STAR Service are essential.
Formación
- Must have proven experience as a Broadcast Manager and shipboard experience is preferred.
- Bachelor-level education in technical theater or broadcasting is preferred.
- Experience with CMS and related equipment like Wowza, KiPro, and IPTV is desirable.
Responsabilidades
- Oversee smooth operation of the Broadcast Centre and supporting departments.
- Set up and operate broadcast equipment for shows and programming; maintain logs.
- Adjust video fidelity, brightness, and contrast for transmissions.
- Align antennas and monitor signal quality; switch input/output sources as needed.
- Assist with IT to ensure live TV signals are current and support onboard tech.
- Communicate clearly with Cruise Director and other departments; troubleshoot issues.
