Job summary

RWS Global seeks a Broadcast Manager to oversee onboard television and radio programming across the vessel. You will plan, deliver, and monitor content distributed via shipboard broadcast and PA systems, working with the Cruise Director and A/V team to ensure quality and timing.

Responsibilities include scheduling, live and pre-recorded content, satellite/terrestrial feeds, and managing equipment such as ITV Network and video playback systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent in-field experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related technical functions within an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment, or recreational industry (shipboard experience preferred).
• Cruise line or touring experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coach, support, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the Broadcast Operator in conjunction with the Cruise Director, ensuring consistent execution of broadcast standards and operational expectations.
• Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the ship’s broadcast systems and ensure consistent service delivery across all platforms.
• Assist in the formulation of television and radio broadcast schedules; execute schedules with accurate start times and continuity.
• Oversee shipboard video presentations, PA system operations, and collaboration with the A/V Manager for events.
• Create broadcast programming and presentation content; maintain inventory of video programming and assets.
