Qualifications

  • Experience in Stowage Planning, Terminal Planning, Seafaring, or Marine Operations is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of non-maritime work experience are welcome
  • Familiarity with stowage planning systems and tools is a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English

Responsibilities

  • Design safe, seaworthy stowage plans for container vessels
  • Advocate and execute round-trip stowage planning across regions
  • Ensure compliance with safety, stability, and dangerous goods segregation requirements
  • Optimize vessel utilization to maximize intake and minimize costs
  • Drive planning objectives including Trim Optimization, Crane Split, Shiftings, Master Planning, and Slot Utilization
  • Follow up with terminals and vessel command for smooth execution
  • Identify and address operational risks affecting vessel operations
  • Collaborate with Marine, Terminal Operations, Network, Deployment, and Regional teams
  • Maintain accurate system updates, records, and documentation
  • Contribute to establishment, review, and improvement of Global Planning SOPs

Job description

  • Designing safe, seaworthy, and operationally efficient stowage plans for container vessels
  • Advocating and executing round‑trip stowage planning across regions
  • Ensuring full compliance with safety, stability, stress, and dangerous goods segregation requirements
  • Optimizing vessel utilization to achieve maximum intake with minimum operational cost
  • Driving key planning objectives including Trim Optimization, Crane Split, Shiftings, Master Planning, and Slot Utilization
  • Following up closely with terminals and vessel command to ensure smooth execution of stowage plans
  • Proactively identifying and addressing operational risks or constraints that may impact vessel operations
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as Marine, Terminal Operations, Network, Deployment, and Regional teams
  • Maintaining accurate system updates, records, and documentation
  • Contributing to the establishment, review, and continuous improvement of Global Planning SOPs
