Job summary

Serco is seeking a Logistics Analyst with Navy modernization experience to support the DDG MOD 2.0 program in the Washington, DC area. You will track material procurement, production, and delivery while using Excel and Power BI to inform decision making.

The role requires a DoD secret clearance, a related bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 25% and collaboration with Navy offices and OEMs are expected.

Qualifications

• Active/Current U.S. Government - DoD issued Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6+ years of experience.
• Experience using databases and metrics to analyze logistics trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Navy logistics experience or DoD civilian/GS background encouraged.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide materiel tracker and logistics support for the DDG 2.0 program.
• Monitor procurement, production status, delivery schedules, and inventory.
• Develop and analyze logistics metrics, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Coordinate with Navy, OEMs, yards, and fleet stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Review engineering docs to identify material needs and changes.
• Track Government Furnished Material through procurement to delivery.
• Support planning per JFMM milestones and ensure timely funding and delivery.
