Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Toledo, OH is hiring immediately for a Shift Supervisor (Full Time) at the UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO - STARBUCKS. The role directs associates during a shift and ensures that assigned job expectations and policies are followed.

Requirements include barista, retail and food service experience; supervisory experience preferred, and Starbucks experience is a plus. Schedule is M-F 7 AM - 9 PM; please upload your resume with the application.

• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Starbucks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide training and create work schedules for team members.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
