The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned tasks to develop supervisory skills, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
