Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform tasks as directed to develop management skills, learn about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understand CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training, trainees may be considered for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management by driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Qualifications

Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred: Retail experience

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay range: $16.00/hour (may vary based on experience, location, etc.)
