The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare an employee for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, completes basic operations training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 14
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00/hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
