The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop management skills, learn about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service, and understand CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to supervisory positions that support store management in driving performance and customer loyalty. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures store operations run smoothly, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
